Why we evaluated Sanity next to AEM and Strapi
Sanity treats content as data: a hosted real-time database, a Studio configured in code and any frontend you like. Here is where it fits in our offering.

CodeLand has delivered on Adobe Experience Manager since 2011 and builds its own website and intranet on Strapi. Sanity is the third option we evaluated in September 2026.
Content as data
Sanity stores every piece of content as a JSON document in the Content Lake, a hosted real-time database. Editors work in Sanity Studio, an open-source React app that we configure in code; any frontend reads the content through GROQ or GraphQL.

A query instead of an endpoint

}One request filters, joins the referenced services and shapes the response. The trade-off: GROQ is Sanity-specific, so queries must be rewritten if a client ever leaves.
